+ The Sega G-80 system is an interchangeable raster/vector system with
+ a common main board and a stack of video/sound boards for each game.
+ The CPU boards were protected with the famous G-80 security chips,
+ which scramble the address lines on memory writes. Below are a list of

+ It appears that later on in the evolution of the hardware, Sega
+ produced a 2-board version of the hardware which put all the CPU,
+ EPROM, video, and background hardware on one or two boards:

+ Monster Bash (2 board):
+ * G-80 consolidated boardset (315-5006 encrypted Z80)
+ * Monster Bash Sound Board (N7751+DAC, TMS3617, discrete)

+ Pig Newton:
+ * G-80 consolidated boardset (315-0062 security)
+ * Sega Universal Sound Board (I8035, discrete)

+ Finally, it looks like Sega also evolved the hardware in the
+ direction of their widely-used System 1 hardware. The final G-80
+ game had a new sound board that was SN76496-based and seemingly
+ identical to the final System 1 hardware. It also used an encrypted
+ Z80 CPU very much like the System 1 games (the 2-board Monster Bash
+ also used one of these):

+ me with enough information to emulate those chips at runtime along with
+ the 315-0062 Astro Blaster chip and the 315-0063 Space Odyssey chip.
